PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal processor which obtains image signals stable about the exposure control and the white balance control just after starting photographing. SOLUTION: The processor controls the exposure time of an imaging device 1010 just after power switch-on so that a first shutter time is long and a second shutter time is short, a calculating means 1070 calculates the brightness average each in the first and second shutter operation times, an imaging device driving means 1060 controls a shutter time control signal 1061, based thereon, so that the calculating means obtains a brightness average equal to a convergent value of the exposure control. Thus the shutter time of the imaging device is controlled to execute a suitable exposure control after a third shutter operation, even if the output of the imaging device saturates. This reduces the time required for the exposure control and a cameral processor 1050 obtains a good picture signal for a short time just after starting photographing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
