PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference voltage generation device having high accuracy in a wide range. SOLUTION: A current mirror circuit consisting of transistors Q1, Q2 allows a current supplied from a constant current source CS1 to flow into a transistor Q3 as a current corresponding to an emitter area ratio between the transistors Q1, Q2. The base current of the transistor Q3 has a value obtained by dividing the collector current of the transistor Q2 by the current amplification factor of the transistor Q3 and becomes almost equal to the collector current of a transistor Q4. A current equal to the base current of the transistor Q3 is supplied to the bases of transistors Q6, Q7 through transistors Q4, Q5 constituted as a current mirror. Consequently it is unnecessary to obtain a base current from a voltage source through a resistor R1 and the supply of the base current to the transistors does not depend on a current value allowed to flow into the resistor R1.
