IMPEDANCE MEASURING DEVICE AND BODY COMPOSITION MEASURING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impedance measuring device and a body composition measuring apparatus which change an impedance measuring mode by an automatic operation corresponding to a measuring condition of a subject.

SOLUTION: The impedance measuring device to measure a regional impedance of a living body using eight electrodes which have pairs of current applying electrodes and voltage measuring electrodes and are respectively connected to both hands and both feet includes a judgement means to judge the measuring condition of each the region on the basis of the above regional impedance and a mode changing means to change the impedance measuring mode on the basis of the above measuring condition so that the measuring mode which is suitable for the subject can be selected by the automatic operation and a reliable impedance measurement can be performed. The reliable body composition data corresponding to the subject can be obtained by a simple operation using the body composition measuring apparatus having the above impedance measuring device.
