<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conflict management system capable of dynamically detecting and resolving conflicts. <P>SOLUTION: The conflict management system detects and resolves conflicts between context-aware applications and includes; a context consumer 110 which receives a service request from an application; an action semantic manager 130 which analyzes a semantic of the requested service and registers/removes the analyzed semantic to/from a data structure; and a service interaction broker 120 which determines whether a conflict occurs between service actions which are registered in the data structure or not, requests the action semantic manager 130 to remove the semantics of conflicting service actions from the data structure in the case of the occurrence of the conflict, generates a resolution policy for the conflict, and requests a new service according to the resolution policy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
