<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a routing method in ad hoc network in which communication quality such as throughput is enhanced and consumption of wireless resource is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In an ad hoc network, a node for transmitting or transferring a route request transmits or transfers the identifier of its own station in a wired network while affixing to the route request when its own station is connected in communication with an external wired network (e.g. the Internet). When identifiers in two or more wired networks are included in the received route request, destination node of the route request creates a route reply employing a path via the wired network between the nodes represented by these two identifiers by using one identifier representative of a node closest to the source node on the route and one identifier representative of a node closest to the destination node out of these two or more identifiers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
