<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko machine capable of providing a player with clear and detailed display patterns which can not be displayed with pattern data from a character ROM only. <P>SOLUTION: The pachinko machine has auxiliary storage means 27 and 28 in which pattern data for preparing patterns to be displayed on a display screen 20 of a pattern display device are exclusively stored in advance, and the auxiliary storage means 27 and 28 are separately disposed from pattern display device bodies 17-25 and a control part 1 of the pachinko machine. A display control means for selecting pattern data from the auxiliary storage means 27 and 28 corresponding to the mode of the game generated in the pachinko machine and displaying patterns on the display screen is disposed in the pattern display device bodies.
