<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container lid and a container using the same in which a disk-like recording medium having an advertisement content is removably set at the lid and the lid can be utilized as an advertisement medium. <P>SOLUTION: A container 100 is constituted by a lid 10 and a container body 20. The lid 10 comprises a top surface 11 for use in closing an opening 20A of the container body 20, a groove 12 protruded upward along an outer peripheral edge of the top surface 11 so as to be integrally formed and removably fitted onto a peripheral surface of the opening 20A of the container body 20, an engagement protrusion 13 arranged to be protruded upward at the central part of the top surface 11, fitted into a central hole of a compact disk 30 and removably fittable into the central hole and a rib 14 formed into a plurality of protrusions radially arranged at the top surface 11.
