<p>In the production of a sliding board of non-rectangular cross-section, with an upper assembly (11) including thermosetting resin (TR)-impregnated fibrous reinforcement (1), polyurethane (PU) foam core and a lower assembly (14) including the sole (16), by injecting PU foam-forming reaction mixture between the two assemblies (with the TR not totally polymerized) in a mold (15, 20), the TR is PU-based and the expanding foam directly contacts the reinforcement. Production of a sliding board of non-rectangular cross-section, consisting of an upper assembly (11) including top protective layer(s) (10) and thermosetting resin (TR)-impregnated fibrous reinforcement (1), a core based on polyurethane (PU) foam and a lower assembly (14) including the board sole (16), involves placing the lower and upper assemblies (with the TR not totally polymerized) in a mold (15, 20) and injecting a reaction mixture forming the PU foam into the space (21) between the assemblies. The novel features are that the TR is based on PU and the expanding foam of the core directly contacts the reinforcement.</p> |
