PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message communication system which can meet requirements of users who want to use a message service whose limitation on the number of letters is moderate among a plurality of message services. SOLUTION: The message communication system 1 includes: a management unit 23 which manages a recommendable network with the message service whose number of input letters is the most out of the plurality of the message services; a management unit 21 which manages positions of transmission source terminals and transmission destination terminals; a management unit 22 which manages communication areas of a network other than the recommendable network out of plurality kinds of networks, dividing them into adjacent areas which are adjacent to the communication area of the recommendable network and communication areas other than the adjacent communication areas; and control units 31, 41 which refer the management units 21, 22, and 23 when a message from the transmission source terminal to the transmission destination terminal is received, and notify the communication information according to the positions of the terminals in the adjacent communication area to the transmission source terminal when one of the terminals is in the adjacent communication area.
