The present invention relates to a novel tertiary substituted benzene-based compound having excellent hole injection capability, hole transport capability, and luminous capability; and to an organic electroluminescent device comprising the same. The compound according to the present invention can be used to an organic layer of an organic electroluminescent device, and favorably to a luminous layer, thereby improving luminous efficiency, operating voltage, and lifespan, etc. of the organic electroluminescent device.
