PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen gas charging device capable of stably charging a hydrogen gas use facility with hydrogen gas with a simple structure, and a charging method.SOLUTION: A hydrogen gas charging device supplying hydrogen gas to a hydrogen gas use facility with predetermined pressure includes: a first accumulator containing a hydrogen storage alloy; a second accumulator not containing the hydrogen storage alloy; heating means (compression means) heating the hydrogen storage alloy, discharging hydrogen gas stored in the hydrogen gas storage alloy, and thereby increasing hydrogen gas pressure; cooling means (decompression means) cooling the hydrogen storage alloy, promoting hydrogen gas storage, and thereby decompressing hydrogen gas pressure; connection means connected to the hydrogen gas use facility; and flow rate control means controlling a hydrogen amount supplied to the hydrogen gas use facility.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
