PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centering device and method of a guide tube for shortening the work time and improving the workability, by simplifying the centering work.SOLUTION: The centering device includes: a plurality of centering rings 101 to be mounted on the outer peripheral side of guide plates 64 disposed on the upper plate 62 side and the bottom plate 63 side; a rotation support device 102 for horizontally supporting and rotating a second guide tube 52 via the centering rings 101; an adjusting device for adjusting the radial positions of the centering rings 101 and second guide tube 52; centering tools that have an inner periphery detection surface and are mounted on the guide plates 64 disposed on the upper plate 62 side and the bottom plate 63 side; and a first measuring instrument for measuring the position of the inner periphery detection surfaces of the centering tools.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
