PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention system that is capable of effectively facilitating not only prevention of crime occurrence but also early discovery of criminals by automating the sounding of crime prevention buzzers in the crime prevention system and recording visual and aural information useful for identification of criminals.SOLUTION: A crime prevention system comprises image pickup means 10 that photographs the surroundings of a protected person by using a device connected with a communication terminal device 20 the protected person carries with him or her with a cable or wirelessly, and forms image information, telephonic means 11 that acquires audio information on the surroundings of the protected person, positional information acquiring means and impact detecting means. The system further comprises an e-mail server 42 that distributes every item of information via a communication network 30 and a communication network 31, preserves the distributed information in servers 40 and 41, and distributes by e-mail the preserved information to the person protecting the protected person, and means of automatically analyzing the visual and aural information and thereby detecting any crisis that may endanger the protected person. When a crisis is detected, a crime prevention buzzer 12 carried by the protected person is automatically sounded and an e-mail is distributed to the protecting person to notify him or her of the critical situation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
