The present invention relates to a small laser diode module mounted inside a portable dental laser operation unit for generating a laser, and more particularly, to a small laser diode module of a portable dental laser operation unit, capable of improving portability and usage convenience of the laser operation unit by miniaturizing the laser diode module while maintaining output performance of the laser, in which a cooling device is unnecessary. The small laser diode module of the portable dental laser operation unit according to the present invention includes: a main body formed at a front thereof with a laser output part where a ferrule connected to an optical fiber is mounted, and formed at a rear thereof with a connection part; an infrared laser diode mounted at the main body to radiate a high energy infrared laser beam of a 909-980 nm band, and mounted at a front end thereof, where the infrared laser beam is radiated, with a fast axis collimation (FAC) lens; a visible ray laser diode mounted at the main body to radiate a low energy visible ray laser beam of a 400-700 nm band, and mounted at a front end thereof, where the visible ray laser beam is radiated, with the FAC lens; a condensing lens for condensing the infrared laser beam and the visible ray laser beam to the ferrule; and a wavelength division filter for allowing a laser beam superposed with the infrared laser beam and the visible ray laser beam to radiate in the direction of the condensing lens by allowing the infrared laser beam to penetrate and reflecting the visible ray laser beam. |
