PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle that performs regenerative control of a dehumidification member, and reduces power consumption of a battery.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 for a vehicle includes: an air conditioning unit 10 that air-conditions a vehicle compartment; and a dehumidification unit 20 that includes a dehumidification member which is disposed in a dehumidification passage communicating the vehicle compartment with the air conditioning unit 10 and adsorbs moisture in the air. The air conditioner for the vehicle further includes a regenerative control unit 31 and regenerative processing units 23, 24, and 25. The regenerative control unit 31 decides whether regenerative control of removing the moisture from the dehumidification member is needed or not, and performs the regenerative control when the regenerative control is needed. The regenerative processing units 23, 24, and 25 and the like are disposed in the dehumidification passage and desorb the moisture of the dehumidification member in response to a command sent from the regenerative control unit 31 using power of an on-vehicle battery as a power source. When a charge rate of the battery is equal to or smaller than a predetermined value S1, the regenerative control unit 31 prohibits the regenerative control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
