The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing a leather-like sheet that has excellent chemical resistance and discoloration resistance with use of an aqueous urethane resin composition. The present invention provides a method for producing a leather-like sheet, which is characterized by laminating a film that is obtained by coating a base with an aqueous urethane resin composition that contains a urethane resin (A) having a urea bond content of 0.3 mol/kg or less and obtained by reacting a polyol (a1) that contains a polyol (a1-1) having a carboxyl group, an aromatic polyisocyanate (a2) and a chain extender (a3), a nonionic emulsifying agent (B) and an aqueous medium (C), and drying the aqueous urethane resin composition thereon. The film is preferably used as a surface skin layer and/or a top coat layer of the leather-like sheet. |
