The mill is mounted on a wheeled chassis which also carries a drive motor such as a petrol or diesel engine coupled to the mill rotor. The rotor is fitted with blades which operate in conjunction with fixed blades mounted on the mill casing. The mill casing discharge outlet is pref. screened with a pivoting grill in the form of a comb having teeth which serve as cutters for a final division of the prod. The grill is pref. held in its operative position by a counterweight which allows the grill to swing out of the way is overloaded. Used for clearing areas of land by collecting vegetable waste which is chopped up for use as compost. The sort of material handled includes roots, branches, twigs, dead leaved, brushwood etc. The mill is mobile for easy transfer between sites. In eliminating the waste, a useful organic compost is obtd.
