PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber position adjusting system capable of adjusting the position of an optical fiber by remote operation. SOLUTION: The optical fiber position adjusting system is provided with a motor 11 for moving the end part of an optical fiber F in the vertical direction relative to laser beam L as well as a motor 12 for movement in the lateral direction, a camera 16 for imaging the end surface of the optical fiber F from the upper-stream side in the advancing direction of the laser beam L, a spot data terminal device which outputs operation signals 19 and 12 corresponding to instruction signals 17 and 18 to the motors 11 and 12 while acquired an image signal 21 of the camera 16, an operation-side data terminal device 23 which outputs the instruction signals 17 and 18 to the motors 11 and 12 while makes the image signal 21 from the camera 16 into a picture, and data communication devices 25 and 26 which are attached to the data terminal devices 22 and 23 and transmit/receive signal between both data terminal devices 22 and 23 through a communication circuit 24 after the signals 17-21 are converted.
