The arrangement has timing means IC1 associated with at least a first pulsator unit (4), (Fig. 1), of a plurality of pulsator units, and providing pulsator operating pulses at an adjustable rate and adjustable mark/space ratio. The first unit (4) in turn controls the other pulsator units (2) by propagation of the original pulses via adjustable time delays within each unit. The timing means has a microprocessor IC1, with ratio and rate setting resistors 14, 15 selected by touch controls 18, and a memory IC6 to store the latest settings. A watch dog timer incorporating a monostable IC2 receives pulses from IC1 and brings a reset line low to restart the operation if the microprocessor IC1 has been disabled, e.g. by power spikes or cuts. The timing means may be powered from a mains supply 10, or from a battery 11, 12 having a battery charger 13. <IMAGE> |
