PURPOSE:To produce an electrophotographic sensitive body having a photosensitive layer free from defects and hardly causing defects to an image by forming an electrically conductive substrate with an Al alloy contg. specified percentages of Mn and Mg. CONSTITUTION:An electrically conductive substrate is formed with an Al alloy contg. <=1.2wt.% Mn and 0.15-1.0wt.% Mg. The formed substrate maintains superior workability even after annealing and has high surface accuracy and high surface cleanness after cleaning and etching. By forming a photosensitive layer on the substrate, the layer is made free from defects and an electrophotographic sensitive body hardly causing defects on a copied image is obtd. |
