PURPOSE:To make a surface flat without giving the feeling of unevenness to a rider and improve vibration insulating, sound insulating, and thermal insulating properties by forming a flexible thin-plate restraining sheet by bending the end edge thereof so as to give roundness, on a vibration damping sheet of foaming melt sheet which is welded to a panel. CONSTITUTION:A restraining sheet 2 made of a flexible thin steel plate is laminated on a vibration damping sheet 1 made of a foaming melt sheet and, after being partly bonded or welded by preheating to each other, these sheets are cut to an appropriate size to obtain a two-layer vibration damping laminated material. In the cutting process, roundness 21 is formed on the peripheral edge on the surface of the restraining sheet 2. Then, in a coating process, as a vehicle body is made pass through an oven, the vibration damping sheet 1 made of foaming melt sheet is foamed and fluidized due to a drying heat and flows into the recessed portions on the floor face 3 of a floor panel P to fill the recessed portions by the vibration damping sheet 1 while being thermowelded to the floor face 3 and, further, the vibration damping sheets 1 and restraining sheet 2 are also thermowelded to each other in a body. |
