PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem-type full color image-forming device, capable of surely detecting the occurrence of paper jamming(JAM) on a transfer belt. SOLUTION: In this tandem-type full color image device, image-forming areas, where images having a different color from each other are formed are arranged plurally in tandem on the transfer belt, and an image density detection sensor is arranged on a more downstream side in a transfer paper carrying direction than the image forming area, where a toner image is finally transferred to the surface of transfer paper on the transfer belt. Then, a solid patch toner image is formed on a photoreceptor drum provided in any image-forming area and is transferred to the surface of the transfer belt without carrying the transfer paper. The density of the solid patch toner image transferred to the surface of the transfer belt is detected by the image density detection sensor, and also the transfer paper is detected by the image density detection sensor. |
