<p>The device comprises a row of portable cylinders (11) which are restrained in supports (16) driven along slides (14,15) on a fixed structure (12) to position them with respect to the delivery openings of at least one gas delivery element (22). As described the structure is an endless arrangement and comprises a chain (32) having pins engaged by ratchets (34,35) driven by two pneumatic cylinders (30,31). - The device includes safety elements to prevent any movement of the cylinders during filling operations, to interrupt the power supply to the drive in case of any movement of the cylinders, and both a fire-prevention fluid supply (27) and a cooling water supply (28).</p> |
