<p>The present invention refers to a new type of leakage-proof container for ice-cream or any other product, in various capacities, made in paperboard eventually treated on one side to be resistent to the penetration of water, oil or grease, depending upon the type of products contained in it. The container is made of a single paperboard blank cut and folded into a container body and a dependant hinged lid. The sides (3, 4, 13) of the container body are interconnected by gusset folds (2) in order to make them leakproof. The lid (10) is provided with three side flaps (8, 9) which are glued to the corresponding side pannels (3, 13) of the container body and are severable therefrom along precut tearing strips (11) to gain access to the contents. After the first opening, the container can be reclosed using a tong (12) insertable into a slit (7). <IMAGE></p> |
