<p>PURPOSE:To protect a plane panel from a shock efficiently and eliminate deterioration of shock-absorbing function in a shockabsorbing mechanism in a lap-top type computer or the like by generating shock-absorbing operation through magnetic force of a solenoid in correspondent with a distance between an equipment main body and the plane panel. CONSTITUTION:A plane panel 1 having a display device adopting, for example, liquid crystal is installed on an equipment main body 2 having a key device or the like by means of a hinge 3, so as to open and close. A solenoid 4 is arranged on a front end part to which an end of the plane panel 1 is abutted such that an axis thereof is set in a direction perpendicular to the upper surface of the main body. A distance sensor 5 is provided on the upper surface of the main body 2 for detecting a distance in respect to the plane panel 1 and generating a signal in case that the distance reaches a specified value. Electric supply to the solenoid 4 is controlled by means of controller 6 based on the output signal. A closed loop coil 8 is provided on a position on an end of the plane panel 1, opposed to the solenoid 4 of the main body 2 eccentrically under a closing condition of the plane panel 1. Shock at the time of closing the plane panel 1 is absorbed by repulsion force of the magnetic forces generated in the loop coil 8 and generated on the solenoid 4.</p> |
