A device (10) for measuring the torque includes an assemble of three beams (22.1,2,3) defining a trihedron. Each beam presents a pivot at its extremity which supports an articulated arm (12.1,2,3). Each beam is provided with stress gauges (28.1,2,3) which measure its deformation and force components along three axes. The gauges are connected to a processing module (29) which includes a differential amplifier and an analog-digital converter. The results are shown on a display (40). USE/ADVANTAGE - In schools for teaching mechanics. Enables accurate measurements of any torque and visualisation of its components in 3D system. Is simple, compact and easy to use.
