The unit consists of a body (1) containing a flow path (2) made up of a series of successive passages (3) of different diameters. At the inlet end is mounted a filter (4) and between this filter and the flow path (2) is placed a series of control elements (5) made up of discs (5) each provided with a central orifice (11). The whole assembly in the body (1) is held in position by a screwed plug (6) and the body is provided at both ends with connecting flanges (7). Use/Advantage - For the continuous discharge of water vapour condensates from steam installations with the minimum loss of steam operating without any moving parts.
