Boring guide for drilling a slot in a rock, the drilling arrangement being used to drill pilot holes 1 in a row in the rock at a distance from one another, and the neck 2 between the holes being drilled to form a slot by means of the boring guide 6 which comprises a drill-rod support sleeve 7 and, fastened thereto, a drill support 8 resting adjacent to the neck which is to be removed on the pilot hole. The drill support comprises an essentially uniform elongate wall support 9 which bears against the wall of the pilot hole and is essentially semi-circular in cross section, a counter-support 10 bearing against the surface of the wall of the pilot hole opposite the wall support, and guiding and holding means 13 in the wall support for pressing the wall support against the wall of the pilot hole. <IMAGE>
