PURPOSE:To provide the camera which is strong to a shutter chance as the camera enables even a beginner to easily take his desired photograph and enables even a user, not a beginner, to instantaneously photograph the point where he sees. CONSTITUTION:This camera has the finder 301 which enables the user to view a range wider than the actual photographic range, a photographic range changeover means which changes over the photographic range by shifting a shift optical system 304 to an instructed position and a shift position calculating means which instructs the photographic range position to the photographic range changeover means by determining the shift position of the shift optical system in accordance with the information from a visual line detecting means. The shift optical system is shifted in accordance with the visual line information detected by the visual line detecting means and the range where the photographer sees is extracted. The range is determined as the photographic range. |
