PURPOSE: To reduce the retreat space of a cooling nozzle, in a device using a cooling drum and the cooling nozzle to cool a thermoplastic resin sheet like article, by preventing the thermoplastic resin sheet like article in a molten state from adhering to the cooling nozzle at the time of the emergency stop of the cooling drum. CONSTITUTION: A T-die 20 is arranged above the almost top surface of a cooling drum 10. First and second cooling nozzles 31, 32 having blowoff surfaces are continuously provided over the almost half peripheral surface on the side of the rotary direction of the cooling drum 10 in concentrically circular relation to the cooling drum 10 so as to leave a slight interval from the cooling drum. The first cooling drum 31 is positioned up to the place rotated by about 135 deg. from the vicinity of the T-die 20 and the second cooling nozzle 32 is positioned up to the almost lower end of the drum from the place rotated by about 135 deg.. The second cooling nozzle 32 is moved at a speed higher than that of the first cooling nozzle 31. |
