PURPOSE: To independently drive a plurality of the independent drive circuits provided to a recording head and to efficiently drive preheaters and main heaters. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of the drive circuits provided to a head are driven by a plurality of pulses for controlling the temp. of the head to enable high speed driving. A plurality of decoders are used in a part of the driver constitution of the head and the corresponding heaters (herein, odd number-th heater and even number-th heaters) are connected to the decoders. The heaters (herein, odd number-th heaters) driven by common signals COM 11, COM 12 and a heat signal P1 and the heaters (herein, even number-th heaters) driven by common signals COM 21, COM 22 and a heat signal P2 are respectively independently driven. By this constitution, the odd number-th heaters and the even number-th heaters can be independently driven and the min. driving time necessary for driving is minimized. |
