PURPOSE: To solidify only a surface and to hold the shape of a molded product by constituting the central part of a cavity of an air permeable metal member and providing the air passing hole allowing the air permeable metal member to communicate with an air pressure source. CONSTITUTION: An air permeable metal member 11 is provided to the part corresponding to the vicinity of the center of the cavity 10 of a movable mold 1 so as to constitute a part of the cavity 10 and an air passing hole 12 is provided to the rear part of the air permeable metal member 11 so as to communicate with an external air pressure source. The vol. in the cavity 10 is expanded by first mold opening to accelerate the foaming of the molten resin in the cavity and air is blown out at the optimum period to rapidly cool the surface of a molded product. The air blown out to the surface of the molded product from air permeable metal members 5, 11 flows along the surface of the cavity of the movable mold to be discharged to a gap K from a stepped part 2. An annular groove 9 is provided to the part coming into contact with a fixed mold 3 and an air passing hole 4 is provided to the annular groove 9 so as to communicate with the external air pressure source. |
