<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To amplify the sound in the corresponding range of a string instrument by resonance operations and to improve the acoustic spectra by producing optimum acoustic effect from acoustic point of view through the use of the resonance box with properly selected material, shape and sounding holes. SOLUTION: A resonance box 1 is symmetrically constituted. A region 4 is located on an axis of symmetry 16 and a string instrument is placed on the region 4. Under a front cover 6, a base bar 15 (indicated by broken lines) is fitted to the left side of the axis 16 when viewed from a player. Two sounding holes are made between the axis 16 and the outer peripheries of the cover 6. When the box 1 is folded, a seat section 5 and the cover 6 are overlapped with each other and a front located front side lateral beam 8 is pulled out. Then, side surface lateral plates 7 and 7' are extended parallel to the cover 6 and folded. Then, a rear located front side lateral beam 10 is pulled out and side surface lateral plates 9 and 9' of the section 5 are folded. Thus, the box 1 is folded to have a minimum volume and easily moved and stored.</p> |
