Reference card for use when photographing wounds, burns, for medical diagnosis

The card (1) is placed in the field of view when photographs are taken. On the card are areas for marking the name (6) of the patient and the date (7) of the exposure. There is also a scale in centimetres (5). In the middle of the card are three areas with patches of primary colours: blue (2), yellow (3) and red (4). The colours on the card on the first and subsequent photographs van be compared to ensure that differences in appearance of the injury are real and not due to differences in film, processing and lighting.
