PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which can prevent an impact noise and assuredly accommodate a suction grill or a ceiling panel at prescribed positions with no speed reducing mechanism, while the suction grill or the ceiling panel is smoothly elevated or lowered without deteriorating a durability. SOLUTION: A wire 21 is wound/lowered by a pulley 15 driven by a stepping motor 11, so that a suction grill 2 suspended by the wire 21 is elevated or lowered. The rotating speed of the stepping motor 11 is controlled by an elevation control part and the elevation speed or lowering speed of the suction grill 2 is controlled. Accordingly, in an area near the accommodating part 1a of a ceiling panel 1 and an area near the lowering position of the suction grill, the wire is wound/lowered at speed lower than ordinary speed, and at ordinary speed or at speed higher than ordinary speed in areas except the above areas. |
