PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth coating device, which provides a coating of similar material to the enamel to a tooth surface, and a coating agent for use in the device. SOLUTION: A coating agent 2 is applied to the surface of a tooth S. The coating agent 2 has a flowing property so that it is easy to apply thinly and uniformly to the surface of the teeth S, contains Ca<2+> and PO4 <3-> in supersaturated states in an aqueous solution, contains fine powders of hydroxyapatite, and contains a small amount of pigment for controlling colors. An electromagnetic wave of the resonant wavelength for the hydroxyapatite constituting the enamel of the tooth S is applied from an electromagnetic wave application means 1 to the surface of the tooth S to which the coating agent 2 has been applied.
