PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent power supply modules connected in parallel to each other from detecting the failure detection erroneously when a load is light. SOLUTION: A system has a comparator 12 which detects the output current of a power supply module and, if the output current is lower than a specified value, detects a current shortage alarm and a comparator 14 which, if a load current applied to a load 16 is lower than a specified value, makes the current shortage alarm invalid. The output current detection signal T3 is connected to the other power supply modules through a diode 10. Although the current shortage alarm which shows the failure of the power supply module is detected by the comparator 12 when the load current is reduced, as the current shortage alarm is made to be invalid by the comparator 14 before the current shortage alarm is detected, the power supply module does not transmit the current shortage alarm T6. |
