PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display unit giving enjoyment and reality and capable of displaying clear images full of variety and intensity, based on a certain information for display. SOLUTION: On an operation panel 15 of an image display unit 11 having a large display screen 13, an opening 19 for setting a portable game machine 18 (with about 16 K bite memory) is dented as an information storage medium. When the game machine 18 is inserted and set into this opening 19, internal information including identification data coincident with identification data included in external information to be inputted from the game machine 18 is selected as display information from among information groups stored in the ROM (with 16 M bite memory) of the display unit 11. Based on rich display data included in this information for display, clear, enjoyable and intensive animated image contents are displayed on the screen 13, different from a case of the portable game machine 18 whose display of images was monotonous and coarse. |
