PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve alignment accuracy of a sheet-like material in a sheet carrying direction during sending of the sheet. SOLUTION: In this method for aligning the sheet-like material 1, the alignment is executed by rotation members 25, and the sheet-like material 1 is turned around the center axis to allow printing of both the front and rear sides. When the sheet-like material 1 is turned, the front edge 23 of the sheet-like material 1 is kept in an alignment position. Preferably, a carrying plane 9 is provided with a pair of sensors 30 each configured as a CCD/line sensor. After the sheet- like material 1 is turned, the sheet-like material 1 is aligned in the same side edges as the side edges in an alignment process for the sheet-like material 1 before the sheet-like material 1 is turned around the center axis, by use of the sensors 30. |
