<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent developing characteristics such that sticking of a toner to a developing roller or an electrifying blade is prevented, and enough charge amt. is added, enough image density is obtd., and no fog or splashing of the toner is caused, by incorporating a binder resin, a coloring agent and inorg. particles into the toner and controlling the Vickers hardness of the binder resin to a specified value or higher. SOLUTION: This nonmagnetic one-component toner contains at least a binder resin, a coloring agent and inorg. particles, and the binder resin has >=15.0 HV 0.01 (10 g) Vickers hardness. Among binder resins having >=15.0 HV 0.01 (10 g) Vickers hardness, resins partially crosslinked and having such a high polymn. degree as >3500 number average mol.wt. or >=1500 weight average mol.wt. are preferably used. Moreover, as for the thermal characteristics of resins, resins having >=110 deg.C initiating temp. of melting or >=130 deg.C flow softening temp. are especially preferable to give excellent developing characteristics.</p> |
