<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix an arrayed nonmagnetic substance firmly, and to make usable the nonmagnetic substance as a product such as a diamond grindstone as it is by fixing the nonmagnetic substance mixed in a magnetic fluid and arrayed on a substrate surface after the completion of the array of the nonmagnetic substance. SOLUTION: Nonmagnetic particles 1 to be arrayed are mixed into a magnetic fluid 2 and a mixed fluid 3 is prepared, the mixed fluid 3 is spread on the surface 5 of a substrate 4, a uniform DC magnetic field is worked to the substrate 4 horizontally or vertically, and the nonmagnetic particles 1 are arrayed. A photo-setting resin or a thermosetting resin is mixed beforehand into the magnetic fluid 2, and the nonmagnetic particles 1 are cured together with the magnetic fluid 2 by light irradiation or the curing treatment by heating as they are after the formation of the arrangement of the nonmagnetic particles 1. Accordingly, even when there is the magnetic fluid 2 in the periphery of the arranged nonmagnetic particles 1, the effect of the magnetic fluid 2 is prevented, and the arrayed nonmagnetic particles 1 can be fixed firmly.</p> |
