<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a coloring unevenness by setting to a specific numeric value range the thickness of a fancy veneer to be adhered to a surface of a composite base material formed by halving a woody fibrous plate having a specific gravity in air dry of a center layer in a thickness direction of a specific numeric value range in a thickness of a specific value or less perpendicularly to a thickness direction thereby sufficiently scraping it. SOLUTION: A fancy veneer 4 of an undried state having a thickness of 0.2 to 0.7 mm is heated, pressurized and adhered to a surface of a composite base material 3 formed by laminating and adhering a split surface 1b of a woody fibrous plate 1 having a thickness of 2 mm or less obtained by halving the plate 1a having a specific gravity in air dry of a center layer in a thickness direction of 0.75 to 1.0 and a thickness of about 2.5 to 4 mm perpendicularly to a thickness direction by a knife while forcibly conveying it in an arrow direction to direct its split surface 1b toward a surface of a plywood 2. Thus, in the case of scraping the surface of the veneer 4 by a reverse roll 7 or the like after the surface of the veneer 4 is coated with a coloring liquid 6, the liquid 6 can be uniformly scraped at a part except a vessel hole or the like almost without being affected by an influence of a recess of he surface 1b.</p> |
