PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal adapter with which an incoming call can be transferred even without being subscribed to an incoming call transfer service provided by a communication network and further, no problem occurs at a call originating side terminal during incoming call transfer control. SOLUTION: An incoming call transfer control circuit 23 receives an incoming call transfer destination telephone number from an incoming call transfer number storage part 24. When a response message (CONNECT) is received by an ISDN call control circuit 25, a call control circuit 22 turns another B channel line into a state under communication. Until the state under communication with an incoming call transfer destination ISDN terminal is established, the B channel line with the incoming call transfer destination ISDN terminal is kept under communication. When the state under communication with the incoming call transfer destination ISDN terminal is established, control is performed so as to connect the line bus of the B channel line under communication with the call originating side ISDN terminal and the B channel line under speaking with the incoming call transfer destination ISDN terminal.
