METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING AOP(ADVANCED OXIDATION PROCESS) USING I.D (INSTANTANEOUS OZONE DEMAND)

PURPOSE: A consumed amount of ozone is measured instantly for calculating ozone and hydrogen peroxide demands. Then, the amount of ozone and hydrogen peroxide, corresponding to consumed amount, are injected automatically. CONSTITUTION: The system includes: a means(3) installed at one side of an ozone/AOP contactor(2) to measure raw wastewater flowrate; an I.D measurer(4) to measure instant ozone demand; a pump(6) for injecting hydrogen peroxide into the ozone/AOP contactor(2); an ozone generator(7) for supplying ozone to the ozone/AOP contactor; a means(8) for monitoring ozone concentration from the ozone generator(7).
