BOARD GAME

The present invention relates to a board game, consisting of a playing field and pieces to be positioned on such playing field, the pieces bearing a distinctive mark and being divided into at least three different classes. The characteristic feature of the invention is that the playing field (10) being constituted by six part fields (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) encircling a regular hexagon-shaped central area (KT), further three concentric hexagons (h1, h2 and h3) being centrally similar in terms of the centre (1a) of the bordering regular hexagon (R1), the smallest (h3) of the three enclosed hexagons (h1, h2 and h3) enclosing the central hexagon (k1) of the respective part field (1), a section (sz1, sz2, sz3, sz4, sz5 and sz6) connecting each corner (R11, R12, R13, R14, R15 and R16) of the regular hexagon (R1) bordering the respective part field (1) with the corner (h11, h12, h13, h14, h15 and h16) of the smallest enclosed hexagon (h3) within the respective part field (1), the sections (sz1, sz2, sz3, sz4, sz5 and sz6) and the enclosing hexagons (h1, h2 and h3) within the respective part field (1) dividing the respective part field (1) into eighteen symmetrical trapezoids (jm) being arranged around the central hexagon (k1) of the respective part field (1) to constitute three rings (kr1, kr2 and kr3) and six slices (ck1, ck2, xk3, ck4, ck5 and ck6), and, beginning with the slice (ck1) adjoining the central area (KT) within the respective part field (1), the symmetrical trapezoids (jm) of every other slice (ck1, ck3 and ck5) as well as symmetrical trapezoids (g), (m) of the central ring (ckr2) are marked with a symbol - e.g. a colour - distinguishing them from the other symmetrical trapezoids (g), (m) of the particular part field (1), each of the other part field (2, 3, 4, 5, and 6) of the playing field (10) being laid out identically with such part field (1).
