PURPOSE: Structure for preventing shakiness in high-speed rotation of a headstock of a machine tool is provided to prevent the shakiness of a direct connecting type headstock and to smoothen the motion by connecting the rotational motion part with the linear motion part. CONSTITUTION: A part where vibration occurs is supported on a bearing(5). A support bracket(8) is inserted between a cylinder(19) as a linear motion part and a shaft coupling(3) as a rotational motion part to fix the bearing. If the length of a shaft is extended while the rotational force is transmitted to a spindle(1), vibration occurs by the centrifugal force. Then, the bearing restrains vibration.
