PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute accurate and simple optical axis alignment among a spectroscope, a spectroscopic object and a detection part. SOLUTION: When executing optical axis alignment of an incident optical path before spectrometry, a light source lens unit composed of an auxiliary light source and an auxiliary lens is set behind an incident side slit. The incident side slit working as a light source emits auxiliary light to a spectroscopic object sample by emission of the light source lens unit. In this case, mutual positions of the incident side slit, the spectroscopic object sample, or a condensing lens positioned between the incident side slit and the spectroscopic object sample are adjusted, to thereby form a focus of auxiliary light on the spectroscopic object sample. The same procedure can be applied in the optical axis alignment of the incident optical path before the spectrometry.
