Disclosed is a coreless motor comprising a rotor having a plurality of flat-type loop coils arranged on a rotor substrate, a motor housing having a journal bearing for rotatably supporting said rotor, and a stator which includes a pair of permanent magnets disposed facing said rotor in said motor housing, characterized in that the angle theta of said flat-type loop coil flared toward itself from the rotor axis is so set as to satisfy the inequality: <IMAGE> WHERE N IS THE NUMBER OF POLE MEMBERS OF A COMMUTATOR AND 2P IS THE NUMBER OF MAGNETIC POLE MEMBERS OF A STATOR.
