PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of improving positional accuracy such as the lateral registration of an image to a sheet. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with photoreceptor drums 8a to 8d on which a latent image is formed by exposure, a resist roller 14 carrying the sheet P to the drums 8a to 8d, a lateral registration sensor unit 60 detecting the end of the sheet P in a main scanning direction being a direction nearly orthogonal to the carrying direction of the sheet P carried to the drums 8a to 8d, and a writing timing correction means correcting the writing timing of the latent image formed on the drums 8a to 8d based on the detected result by the unit 60. |
