PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating panel in which the height of operating plane can be adjusted to satisfy both the minimum height advantageous to physical distribution and the height corresponding to the use conditions. SOLUTION: An operating panel comprises an upper cover 11 having a panel face 11a, an electric circuit board 13 outputting a signal corresponding to the operational input on the inner surface side of the upper cover 11, a chassis 14 supporting the board 13, a lower cover 12 forming a space 5 for containing the chassis 14 and the circuit board 13 together with the upper cover 11, members 11g, 25a and 25b for guiding the covers 12 and 13 movably up and down, and members 15b, 15c and 16 for securing the chassis 14 to the lower cover 12. The apparatus for adjusting the height of the operating panel is arranged such that the parts 22 for securing the chassis 14 to the lower cover 12 are provided while being spaced apart vertically.
